There are many runners who inspire me, but ultimately, I find my own inspiration. When I look back, I see a different version of myself, one that’s constantly evolving and pushing harder every day. The drive to improve is what keeps me going.

About Their Running Journey
When and how did you start running?
I started running in 2019 with the goal of losing weight and challenging myself. I never imagined I’d be where I am today, but here I am, chasing my dreams every step of the way.
What inspired you to become a runner?
My dad, who’s a runner, inspired me to become one too. Watching his dedication and passion lit a fire in me to start running and pursue my own journey.
Who has been your biggest influence or mentor in running?
I believe in myself and know that putting in the work every day is key. While my dad has been a huge guide and mentor, we are a team—so all my successes are as much his as they are mine.
Training and Preparation
How do you prepare mentally and physically for a big race?
I trust my training and know I’ve put in the work. Mentally, I’m confident because I know my coach has prepared me to be race-ready
Do you work with a coach or create your own training plan?
My dad, who’s also my coach, creates the training plan we follow. Of course, we adjust it based on my needs and how I’m feeling, ensuring it’s always tailored to keep improving.
How do you incorporate cross-training into your schedule?
The schedule changes weekly, but we make sure to hit the gym and incorporate cross-training. It helps keep me balanced and strengthens different areas of my body for better performance.

What is your proudest running achievement so far?
Honestly, I’m proud of every run I’ve done. Whether it’s an easy session, a tough workout, or a race, I show up every day, and that’s what matters. I love running so much, and each step is an achievement in itself
Are you working toward a specific running goal right now?
Right now, my goal is to improve—always. It’s a constant pursuit, whether it’s better times, stronger endurance, or refining my technique. Progress is the goal, and it never stops.
What’s your dream race or bucket-list event?
My dream race is to step up the distance and run a marathon. I know I have the potential, the longer I run. But it’s all about taking it step by step. When my coach says I’m ready, I’ll be there, fully prepared.
Mindset and Motivation
How do you stay motivated during long runs or difficult races?
During long runs or tough races, I stay focused and remind myself of all the work I’ve put in. Thankfully, I have the support of my girlfriend and family, who know how much running means to me and are always there cheering me on. Their encouragement keeps me going when things get tough.
Have you ever had to overcome a significant setback? How did you handle it?
Everyone faces setbacks, but I believe they’re just part of life. It’s not about avoiding them, but about how hard you fight to overcome them. I stay focused on my goals, push through the challenges, and come out stronger on the other side.
How do you balance running with the rest of your life?
I try to maintain balance, but I know running takes a lot of time. Thankfully, everyone around me supports me, knowing that running is a big part of my life.

How do you give back to the running community?
I help anyone who asks and know that many look up to me. By putting in the work, I hope to motivate others to keep pushing and reach their own goals.
How do you encourage others to start running?
I encourage others to start running by telling them to never set limits. Believe in yourself, take it step by step, and you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve.
Do you mentor or coach athletes?
Yes, I coach a small group of athletes. It helps me relax a bit from my own running, and I love seeing their progress throughout the year. It’s rewarding to be part of their journey.
